How to Cut & Install SBR Rubber Sheet

Step 1: Measure & Mark (5 minutes)

• Measure the area or component requiring rubber sheeting
• Add 5-10mm extra for trimming and adjustment
• Mark cutting lines with chalk or marker pen on the rubber surface
• Use a straight edge or template for complex shapes

Step 2: Cut the Rubber (10 minutes)

• For 1.5mm-6mm thickness: Use sharp scissors or utility knife with fresh blade
• For 7mm-15mm thickness: Use heavy-duty utility knife, score multiple times
• For 16mm-25mm thickness: Use Stanley knife or band saw for clean cuts
• Cut on a stable surface with protective backing underneath
• For circles: Use compass cutter or hole saw
• For complex shapes: Create cardboard template first
